How To Find Out If A Detroit Property Has Back Taxes

Follow these 8 SIMPLE STEPS to determine if a Detroit property has delinquent property taxes.

Go to:

www.waynecounty.com/treasurer

1. On the home screen menu, select 'Tax Payment Options'.
   
2. Select 'Pay Taxes Online' from the drop down menu.
   
3. This will take you to the Property Tax Listing System page. You scroll down and select 'Enter Site' button.
   
4. This will take you to the Property Tax Listing Disclaimer page. You will scroll down and select 'Accept Disclaimer'.
   
5. This will take you to the Property Search page. You can search by address or Parcel ID #.
   
6. To search by address, you enter the address and then under 'Municipality'  select 'Detroit' from the drop down menu.
   
7. To search by Parcel ID#, simply enter the Parcel ID #.
   
8. Click 'Search Database'
